Amelia joined the firm in 2019.

Her practice includes commercial litigation matters, including injunctive relief cases, contractual interpretation, professional liability, commercial leasing disputes, real property and development disputes, and employment disputes.

While in law school, Amelia edited professionally for The Canadian Journal of Law & Jurisprudence, clerked at an international court and articled at one of Canada’s most prominent Bay Street firms.

After her Call to the Bar in 2010, Amelia entered the corporate arena and ran, and subsequently sold, an online company before re-entering the legal profession in 2017, representing clients in corporate/commercial litigation matters.

Outside the office, Amelia enjoys athletic pursuits, including distance running.

Amelia takes every opportunity to advocate for her clients, from early settlement discussions to appearing in Court and has an excellent record of courtroom advocacy.

EDUCATION

Amelia graduated with Distinction from the University of Toronto at Trinity College with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and received her Juris Doctor from Western University after completing Western’s most competitive exchange at the University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Law.
